Welcome and thank you for visiting this site. My name is Simon and I am a fully qualified counsellor. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I am also qualified in MET (Motivational Enhancement therapy), life coaching and stress management techniques such as mindfulness. I am passionate about what I do and have experience with a range of issues including stress, anxiety and depression. I specialise in addiction support, including drug and alcohol dependency and eating disorders. I recognise that sometimes life can get on top of us and talking therapy can make a significant difference to making positive change to our lives..Alongside my private counselling practise, I continue to work with the NHS to offer support and guidance to individuals seeking recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. I am approachable and friendly with an open and honest approach to my practise. If you are struggling, I would love to help and can offer you a free no obligation consultation (an informal chat to see what approach would be best for your individual needs.) I am fully committed to the ethical framework and confidentiality requirements set out by the BACP and work with the person centred and humanistic approaches to counselling.
